" It was a fairly silly book but I enjoyed it.
Very interesting idea (although a better and more throughough discussion can be found in the title essay of Patton Oswalt's Zombie Spaceship Wasteland ). I found an great zombie story in its own right and a interesting discussion of what the type of story we read says about our outlook: if you're here for Star Trek you are likly optimistic that everything will work out, If you're here for zombies your outlook is bleak. But this - due to the title alone - needed checking out. " I don't really like this current trend to "horrorize" everything in sight.

I really wish the authors would write more of this kind of fiction, it was definitely worth the read! They can even make fun of themselves as Trekkies." I've always love Star Trek, especially "Next Generation" but I honestly I'm a much bigger Star Wars fan. NOT THIS TIME! I absolutely loved this book! I laughed all the way through it. of course that frequently happens and then I turn to the first page and I put it down. "I saw this in the bookstore and the title instantly grabbed me.
